My Past, Present and Future
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhi wamaghfiratuhi waridhwanuh...
Alhamdulillah, to change, I need determination, no hesitation just focus.
Stop and stare at the sky, what do we see? Dark clouds. But beyond that pitch black clouds there are the stars, trillions of them shining, biidznillah. What we see usually is the way of the syaitan to derail us from the true path. What we don't see is something Allah azza wa jalla prepared for us and written for us in Luh Mahfuz, wallahualam.
We tend to seize the see-able, why? It is easier to grasp. Meanwhile, the things beyond human sight and knowledge; the sustenance (rezki), reward (pahala), paradise (jannah) and everything beneficial, people tend to neglect it, why? They cannot see it.
A simple and typical analogy. You have a brain, and you know you have a brain. But you can't see them. Still, you believe in the existence of the brain. For no other reason; FAITH (IMAN). We need to have faith in the Creator. We must believe in His authorities as He is Al-'Alim (The All-Knowing) and Al-Basir (The All-Seeing).
"Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent."
(al-Ikhlas, 112:1-4)
Allah is the One, He is the Protector (Al-Muhaimin), the Sustainer (Ar-Razzaq). He knows what's best for more than ourselves.
A wise man said: Life is a journey. This worldly life has its purpose. The purpose of which people tend to get ablinded with, the true purpose, Jannatul Firdausi (Highest of Heavens). The life is a place where we, do the good deeds, lillahi ta'ala.
A friend of mine said: Wallahi, we are deceived by the syaitan. We become obsessed with the worldly desires, and had forsaken the eternal blissful life of the hereafter. This world, is just like a place of vacation. We took a 9 months flight to this world with a bag full of love and warmth. The big bag of ours is meant to be filled with things that we desire the most, Reward. After years of experience and righteous deeds, now we are about to depart to the next world, the hereafter. So pack up the good deeds and prepare for take off. Next station, Jannatul Firdausi. Heaven is within our reach, in shaa Allah.
“Every good deed that a human performs is multiplied ten times up to seven hundred. And Allah has said, ‘Except for the fast for it is done for My sake and I shall reward it [even more]. The person leaves his desires and food for My sake…”
(Recorded in al-Bukhari and Muslim)
“Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof [to his credit], and whoever comes with an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like thereof; and they will not be wronged.”
(Surah al-An'am, 6:160)
